STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Our purpose is to enrich the musical education of our Children by
presenting, in schools, live concerts by THE AMERICAN HERITAGE ORCHESTRA, LTD. which is dedicated to the preservation
and presentation of our rich heritage of American Music through research and performance.
MISSION STATEMENT
1.) Produce and present free concerts in the schools in the tri-state
area surrounding Wheeling, West Virginia.
* Schools where there is not music in the curriculum will be given priority.
* Each concert will include selections of American Music and examples of musical influences from other parts of
the world.
2.) Funding for these concerts will be raised through grants and contributions.
* Contributions may be made to THE AMERICAN HERITAGE ORCHESTRA at any branch of UNITED BANK which has offices
in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland.
3.) Award scholarships to future music teachers who are enrolled full time degree programs at the undergraduate level.
Until further notice, Scholarship applications will be accepted only from residents of West Virginia.

4.) Funding for these scholarships will be raised exclusively through
public concerts presented for that purpose.
5.) Provide professional clinician services for established high school and college band and orchestra programs
at reasonable fees.
6.) Funds earned through the sale of music related items such as audio and video recordings, books and collectibles
will be used for operating expenses.
7.) Incuding the transaction of any or all music related lawful business for which corporations can be incorporated
in West Virginia.
